108 FILMS is a production company based in New York City that creates and produces documentary stories and short-form video for advocacy and branding. Our job and our passion is to tell stories that matter, and to help organizations to advance their mission.

We offer full production services from concept through completion, as well as a network of local and international creative professionals. We have extensive experience bringing stories to life with a documentary film approach, as well as producing branding videos that communicate the core essence of our clients’ identity and their distinctive value as actors of change. Our clients include UN Women, ACLU, the Committee to Protect Journalists, Outright International, the International Women's Health Coalition, Neo Philanthropy, and Al Gore's initiative The Climate Reality Project.

Elena Testi is a producer with international experience in visual content production ranging from documentary to branding and advertising. Originally from Italy, where she started her career producing iconic campaigns for the fashion brand Diesel, she worked in a renown advertising agency in Paris before joining the photojournalism agency Magnum Photos. Once she moved to New York in 2005, where she graduated in Social Sciences, she worked for a decade as senior producer in the award-winning documentary team of the organization Human Rights Watch. In 2017 she created 108 FILMS with her partner Francisco Fagan.  Elena speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.

Francisco Fagan is an award-winning producer, editor, and cinematographer in New York City. His work has appeared in many media outlets from all over the world, including Time, PBS, Vox, the New Yorker, Al Jazeera, Channel 4 and the BBC.

For over six years, he was the primary consultant for documentary production at Human Rights Watch, winning two Peabody awards and three Webby awards.

Originally from New Mexico and Colorado, he studied film at the University of Chicago and at New York University’s Graduate Film Program. He pursued further studies informally in Paris and with Stan Brakhage at the University of Colorado. A native of English, he also speaks fluent French and Italian.
